Why Train With The Doggy Lady?

With the help and support of both Fiona & Kerry I was able to get my 11yo sensitive/I find dogs scary boy out, learning something new, in a new environment 5 stars is not enough, 10/10!

If you have a dog and they like to sniff, do yourself and your fur person a favour and see Fiona. Her sniffer workshops and fundays are awesome! She is a wealth of knowledge and runs fun, friendly and professional service. Your dog will walk away exhausted and happy and you will have a great skill you can take away with more of a bond to your dog. You don't have to have any experience, just enthusiasm to do something really neat with your furry friend! My lab Tilly loves every second of any classes with Fiona and I hope your dog does to!

I cannot speak highly enough of Fiona. She is a dedicated, passionate, funny, and caring teacher who adapts her teaching to each individual dog. A lot of trainers insist on using the same tools and tricks for every dog (which usually leaves me and Kira in fits of frustration), but Fiona adapts everything so it's presented in the best way for Kira and I to learn. Every dog and handler is different, and I love watching how she changes her advice for each dog. She is also a fantastic human teacher (not just dogs) and takes great joy in her students wanting to learn more. If I could give her 6 stars, I would!

We have been attending sniffer dog classes for a while now. Coming with two 'special' dogs (one very reactive and one with some mobility issues), I wasn't sure how it would all be managed. I need not have worried-the classes really are suitable for all dogs. Fiona adapts the activities to suit each dog. She is passionate, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. She's great at picking up each dog's strengths very quickly-you will learn amazing things about your dogs! The classes have made a big difference to Csoki-he's calmer and a lot more confident now that he has a 'job'. As for Mishka-he just loves it. The classes are highly recommended-they are fun and will help you build a great relationship with your dog/s!
